Ice & Fire (Unreleased)

Ice and Fire is an open tuning instrumental with a few lyrics tossed in. It is fun with a harmonica, some bongos, and any other percussive surface that you find around you. It's one of those songs that has meant completely different things to me as time has passed.

Final version of lyrics: Monday, December 4th, 1989

Ice & Fire (Unreleased)

You tore me out of myself again,
Out of the river and into the flames
With an ice guitar, a ticket to Mars,
And another two songs about rain.

[instrumental]

I never expected to learn how to fly
Picked up from the ground and tossed at the sky
All feeling released, an explosion of peace
And no reason to question you why.

What about the rain?
