First anniversary of 9/11 in New York City
I traveled to New York City for the first anniversary of 9/11. People from around the world spent the day walking around the Ground Zero fence, where grafitti, photos of loved ones, and prayers were plastered side by side. The photos of the customized truck were taken outside a cop/fireman bar, where understandable anger was definitely part of the mix. A sobering day to reflect on what happened on 9/11, and on the impact on US society of the events.
