Snapshots: A Sikh Sense of Humor

"We will not be silent" was the buzz phrase of the summer, after Iraqi blogger Raed Jarrar was made to remove a black T-shirt with the English/Arabic slogan before boarding a flight in the United States.

Before the controversy, at a summer free concert in Central Park, I snapped this picture, which is posted solely for the cheap laugh. The T-shirt on the left says "Finish your beer. There are sober kids in India."

To read more about the "We will not be silent" story, see this transcript on Democracy Now! End of transcript includes contact e-mail to order T-shirts.
